Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to rest and relax after your
journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby areas such as Thamel for dining and shopping.
Day 2 :
Kathmandu to Illam
In the early morning, we'll transfer you to Kathmandu
Domestic Airport for your flight to Bhadrapur. Enjoy the scenic flight offering breathtaking views of theHimalayas. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide who will drive you to Illam, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Check in at your accommodation in Kanyam or Fikkal and spend the rest of the day exploring the local surroundings and soaking in the peaceful ambiance of Illam.
Day 3 :
Thumche Homestay and Red Panda Tracking
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Thumche homestay via Manevanjyang, which takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in at the homestay and freshen up. Later, enjoy a short hike to the Red Panda tracking area surrounded by lush forests and mountain vistas. Learn about red panda conservation efforts and observe
their natural habitat. Return to the homestay for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 :
Full Day of Red Panda Tracking and Trekking
Today is dedicated to a full day of Red Panda tracking and trekking. Spend the day engaging in Red Panda tracking activities in the forested areas around
Thumche. Trek to Tumling-viewpoint for breathtaking vistas of Kanchenjunga and other mountain ranges that span the border between India and Nepal. Explore the diverse flora and fauna of the region while keeping an eye out for wildlife sightings. Return to the homestay in the evening for relaxation and dinner.
Day 5 :
Sunrise View and Red Panda Tracking
Wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise views from the homestay. After breakfast, resume Red Panda tracking activities, exploring different trails and habitats. Learn more about the local ecology and biodiversity from your knowledgeable guides. Spend the day immersed in nature and wildlife observation. Return to the homestay in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 :
Return to Illam
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the homestay before bidding farewell to your hosts and embarking on the
journey back to Illam. Upon arrival, check in at your chosen accommodation in Bhadrapur, Kanyam, Fikkal, or Kakarbhitta. Spend the evening exploring the local markets or relaxing at your hotel.
Day 7 :
Fly back to Kathmandu
Today, we'll transfer you to Bhadrapur Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Enjoy your last evening in Nepal exploring Kathmandu's vibrant streets or indulging in a farewell dinner.
Day 8 :
Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or sightseeing. Check out from your hotel and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. End of the tour.
